Predominately Ages 9-12
Class length is usually 1 hour per week.
This is a combination class with concentration on tap, ballet & jazz. This class continues past basic levels to a more challenging class for the advancing dancer. While the class is still set in a positive, fun and interactive learning environment, instructors seek to develop a higher level of concentration by using more advanced steps and more difficult technique.
Studends are taught a variety of steps and combinations and use a variety of music from classical to pop. They will also work on leaps, turns & splits. Dancers learn to work in larger groups requiring a longer attention span and ability to focus.
This class usually performs at least 3 routine in the end of the year recital .
