Predominantly Ages 10 and up

Class length is usually 1 hour per week.

Hip Hop is a popular dance style. Our hip hop class is a combination of funk, street-style, b-boy and b-girl, poppin and lockin dance styles.  The class is set in a fun & exciting learning environment. It is fast paced and the students work very hard.  

 We occasionally will allow students under the age of 10 in the class; however they must have had a least one year of jazz class and get instructors permission to join.

 This class usually participates in 1 recital routine.

 A note to the parents:  While this class does use hip hop style music we screen all songs before allowing them to be used in class.  The songs will not contain any obscene words or suggestive lyrics. Also we do not teach the students to “booty dance”.
