Dancing Tots

Predominately Ages 3-5

Class Color Yellow (for the 2007-2008 dance year)

Class length is usually 45 min per week.

Pre-school age children need formal more of a creative movement class where they can have fun, release their energy, and use their imaginations.  Dancing Tots was developmentally designed for the preschooler’s imagination, curiosity, developing minds and growing bodies.

These classes offer pre-ballet, simple tap and basic tumbling while focusing on fundamental motor skills, creative movement and fun.  Children in these classes have fun learning to move their bodies creatively with the music while building an essential dance foundation. These classes will provide children with a variety of skills from counting, rhythm, and team work while also helping to enhance coordination and self-esteem.  Those taking part learn to express their feelings and emotions physically in a non-aggressive manner. 

This class usually participates in at least one recital routine.
